Headed to the store to get a few things for mom. (Yes mommy's in town!)  She always makes things so much better for me..she's like a sigh of relief...

Beach Bum

A family member came into town to visit for a few weeks on work. Figured since she was in town I'd hit the beach since I NEVER go even though people back in St. Louis where I'm from would die to be able to go to the beach EVERYDAY!

I've had this bathing suit for years..paired it with bright neon yellow fingernail polish with my  Louis Bag.

I match from head to toe when I go to the beach..especially if I know I'm not getting in the water. I don't know why it's like a habit of mine to ALWAYS be "fashionable" wherever I go. To me it's like a must to be especially cute at the beach. *shrugs*..maybe I've been in Cali too long. Hey...you never know who you may meet or run into on a bad day.

REMEMBER...don't let your bad days LOOK like your bad days!

I got to attend the concert of my newly favorite artist Mali Music! I absolutely LOVE his music and his style. He's such a positive young force for our generation. I met a few great people there while rockin' J'Approved!

I bumped into Derrick Luke and his wife. He's SOOOO SUPER nice...and VERY Godly! It's not many people in the Hollywood Industry that you find openly saved with enthusiasm! There was NO SHAME in his game. I respect this man so much. him and his wife LOVED my shirt by the way...he personally told me he WANTS to rock J'Approved's new men's line coming soon!

2010 Spirit of Business Award!

I received my very first award for J'Approved! Yaay! I was presented a True Spirit of Business award at the 2010 Patron Gala Business Award Ceremony and Fundraiser. Special thanks to Jesse and Erica Harris for presenting me with my very first business award!

Some friends and I hung out at Shemar's again...he enjoyed us so much the first time he asked us to come back...literally..lol! Can you believe ALL of us had on black and didn't even plan that??! WEIRD! But we had another great night hanging!

As some of you may know I am a free-lance make-up artist. I should have pursued this a few years ago..but I guess that's how much confidence I had in my work. Plus I wasn't sure if I really wanted to go that route. But, I figured why not..I know how to do it..people are willing to pay me, it's FUN...WHY NOT?! And I am also absolutely IN LOVE with SKIN! I think one day I am going to open my own skin care line and spa of some sort. I LOVE beautiful skin! TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN! ITS THE ONLY SKIN YOU HAVE!

Artist and I..

Pink Polka Dot Bikini

I love bright weird nails in the summer time! They always ask me where I come up with some of my nail designs when I walk into the nail shop and try to describe it to them. Can you imagine how hard it can be at times for them to understand what I'm trying to explain to them?? Never really understood that though...but I guess. All I know is...my nails are probably most of the hands in all of the photo albums that you see in one of the nicest nail shops in L.A..lol.

ME = POETRY LOVER!

Passion 4 Christ Movement is one of the DOPEST young adult churches in the Los Angeles area. Every few months they hold an event call The Lyricist Lounge. Me and some friends were invited on the VIP List. We went rockin' J'Approved and had a MARVELOUS time!

J'Approved's First Event & Fashion Show

J'Approved had its very first event and fashion show at Concordia University in Irvine, CA. My cousins came out to help me with booth sales and setup. So glad to have had their help. The show turned out to be...well...sometimes starting off in this industry you have to sacrifice some things....like...your time. Let's just say it was a very interesting experience to say the least.......
